About us

Assuric is an AI-powered compliance platform (B2B SaaS) specialised for healthtech and healthcare, enabling both healthtech companies and healthcare organisations to meet essential requirements in a matter of days, not months.
This hasn't been done before! And we're solving an impactful problem… We're accelerating the deployment and adoption of much needed healthtech innovations and AI, whilst ensuring safety, effectiveness and security.
Not only that, we're moving fast and growing incredibly quickly. Since starting out just two years ago, we now work with 100+ incredible companies and organisations, including Accurx, DrDoctor, Tandem, VitVio, multiple NHS Hospital Trusts, Accenture and more.
We're backed by an excellent group of VC and angel investors.
Product described by users as "transformational" and by one as "the best piece of software they've ever seen"

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Clinical Safety Specialist to deliver clinical safety and CSO services to our customers, feed frontline learnings into our product, and help establish Assuric as the home of clinical safety expertise.
You’ll work alongside Paul (CEO) and Felix, delivering clinical safety work across a wide range of healthtech and NHS customers, from AI scribes and AI receptionists to novel SaMD and AIaMD products. We're a small team, so adaptability, autonomy, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves are essential.

What’s in it for you?

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing start-up at an early stage, helping to further grow and shape the company!
You will work very closely with the founding team, in particular the CEO (a practising NHS doctor and experienced CSO), and gain valuable experience across clinical safety delivery, product development, and the wider workings of a fast-growing healthtech start-up.
It’s perfect for those interested in the digital health and health technology space, as not only will you gain key knowledge and experience on the regulatory side, you’ll also work closely with our incredible customers, gaining insider knowledge into innovating in healthcare, navigating healthcare systems and getting products to market.
You’ll be making a difference! We strongly believe that lowering barriers to adoption for AI and tech innovations in healthcare is one of the most impactful problems to work on right now.

What you’ll do

Clinical safety (CSO) work: you’ll provide clinical safety support and CSO services to Assuric customers - either individually or together with the rest of the Assuric team, particularly Paul and Felix, who are also CSO trained.
Clinical safety delivery: utilising the Assuric platform, you’ll put together key safety deliverables (across DCB0129 and DCB0160) for a range of exciting problems.
Product development: use your feedback and learnings from customer conversations and clinical safety projects to help shape product development. Work closely with our CTO and engineering team to test the product and provide actionable feedback.
Thought leadership (if interested): you’ll build your (and Assuric’s) profile as a leading voice in clinical safety.
Business development (if interested): opportunity to support NHS and healthtech business development, from demos and events to shaping our clinical safety service offering.

We’d love to hear from you, if you…

Have completed Digital Clinical Safety Practitioner training (a complete in-person practitioner course, not just e-learning modules)
Have at least 2 years’ experience acting as a Clinical Safety Officer
Are a registered clinician with current registration
Are an excellent communicator, confident engaging with senior stakeholders across both healthtech and NHS organisations
Are excited to move into a fast-paced startup environment, can work autonomously without much hand-holding, and can get stuff done
Are highly organised and self-motivated, with sharp attention to detail and a genuine commitment to customer outcomes
Are confident using AI and automation tools to work faster and smarter
Bonus points if you...
Have experience across delivery of both DCB0129 (manufacturer) and DCB0160 (deployment) safety cases
Have experience in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and AI as a Medical Device (AIaMD)
