Why Asterix exists

There aren't enough doctors. Millions of patients can't get a GP appointment, millions more are stuck on hospital waitlists, and preventable conditions go unmanaged. It's no longer good enough.

Asterix is pioneering a new model: qualified international doctors working remotely as part of UK GP practices' own teams. We're the only company in the UK approved to operate this model under new regulation. We're also building DoctorOS, a platform that automates clinical busywork so our doctors get significantly more done than traditional GPs.

We already work with some of the largest GP practices in the country, covering over 430,000 patients.

Your mission: make every practice partnership a success

Once a practice signs, you take over. You'll own the relationship from onboarding through to a long-term partnership, making sure our clinical model works in the real world of each practice.

This isn't account management where you keep things ticking over. You'll help build the customer function and set the standard for how Asterix works with practices at scale.

You will own
Onboarding, end to end
  • Run sign-off meetings with new practices and own the onboarding plan.

  • Set up clinical workflows correctly from day one, so practices feel confident from the start.

  • Lead training sessions with practice teams.

The practice relationship

  • Be the trusted point of contact for clinical queries and concerns.

  • Resolve issues directly instead of passing them around.

  • Run regular performance reviews with practice managers and GP partners.

Feedback that changes how we work

  • Build a systematic feedback loop with GP partners about what's working and what isn't.

  • Iterate our SOPs and audit processes based on real practice feedback, not assumptions.

  • Spot patterns across partnerships and flag them early to clinical, product and leadership.

Your first few weeks

  • Shadow Dr Harriet Bradley (Medical Director) to get deep on our clinical model and governance.

  • Learn to speak credibly with practice managers and clinicians alike.

Who you'll work with

You'll report to Max (Co-founder & COO). You'll work closely with:

  • Julian (Co-founder & CEO) on sales and customer experience

  • Dr Harriet Bradley (Medical Director) on clinical and governance

  • Jamil (Delivery Operations Manager) on GP supply-side operations

Together they bring deep expertise in clinical governance, operations and NHS primary care for you to draw on.

Who you are

We care about what you've done and how you think, not your job title.

You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Have worked in NHS primary care as a Junior Doctor (F1, F2 etc) or GP.

  • Can confidently communicate or lead onboarding sessions, training and performance reviews with GP practice and other primary care teams.

  • Have improved a workflow or operational process, such as reducing a backlog, redesigning an SOP or improving turnaround times.

  • Know clinical systems such as EMIS, SystmOne, Accurx etc.

  • Love ownership and tackling challenges no one has solved before.

  • Want to build scalable processes, not just deliver services.

You also bring
  • Credibility: practice managers and clinicians trust you quickly, because you've worked in their world.

  • Ownership: you see problems through to the end rather than handing them on.

  • Curiosity: you want to know why a workflow breaks, not just patch it.

  • A builder's mindset: you'd rather design the process than follow one.

Culture: the Asterix way

Humble. We assume we might be wrong until the data or a clinician shows otherwise. We ask questions and help each other improve.

Founder mentality. You don't wait for permission. You push problems to resolution and act like an owner.

Joyful energy. We take the work seriously, not ourselves. We celebrate wins and back each other completely.

In person by design. We work side by side in London four days a week. It makes us faster and the journey more fun.

Why join now

Because this is the moment your work shapes everything that comes after. In this role you'll:

  • Use your clinical background to improve access for hundreds of thousands of patients.

  • Help build the customer function early, and grow into leading it.

  • Work directly with our founders and Medical Director.

  • Earn equity in a company shaping how primary care runs at national scale.

If you know primary care from the inside and want to help rebuild how it works, we'd love to hear from you.
