Our mission
Create the intelligence layer for preconstruction that compresses the path from design to build, getting the world more buildings, sooner.
For now, we focus on preconstruction: Transforming messy docs into data that is easy to read, analyze and understand to compound learning from past projects so preconstruction teams bid faster and with greater confidence.
About the role
As a Founding AI Engineer, you will develop and evolve Belidor’s AI core. Building systems that can parse, reason, and learn from complex construction data.
You’ll work with unstructured and domain-specific data (Plans, bids, and spec sheets) to build pipelines, agents and models that can parse documents, interpret ambiguous scopes, and highlight discrepancies in real time.
You’ll design and implement robust validation pipelines as well as ensure explainability, traceability, and reliability of AI outputs.
Because we’re still early, you’ll shape the entire AI stack and set engineering standards for scalability, security, and experimentation velocity.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with founders and customers to co-design features that solve real field problems, then productize them so every project makes the next one faster.
What we look for
Paris‑based (or ready to relocate). You like the speed and focus of building together in person.
Experience in successfully building and shipping LLM powered products: structured extraction, RAG, agents, evaluation pipelines.
Value-creation mindset: you care about delivering measurable user impact (time saved, accuracy, fewer misses) and have the empathy to observe how customers work, iterate quickly.
