Job Summary

As an On-Street Operative, you will help keep daily street operations running smoothly across the Worcester scheme. You will work hands-on in the field to make sure equipment, vehicles, and service areas are safe, clean, and working properly.

You’ll support your team, follow safety procedures, and report any issues so they can be fixed quickly. This role is key to delivering a reliable, safe, and high-quality service.

Access to a shared van, fuel card, uniform and all tools will be provided as part of this role.

Responsibilities
Daily Operations

- Carry out on-street tasks to support daily operational plans in Worcester

- Ensure equipment and service areas are clean, safe, and working correctly

- Be visible on the street and support team performance

- Report any issues or risks to your manager

- Distribute e-bikes and batteries to/from our Hereford repair depot.

Health & Safety

- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

- Complete vehicle checks and on-street safety checks

- Report accidents, near misses, or hazards immediately

- Ensure equipment and vehicles are safe to use

- Take part in Toolbox Talks and safety briefings

Fleet & Vehicles

- Help keep vehicles clean, safe, and well maintained

- Report when servicing, repairs, or MOTs are due

- Keep basic records of vehicle checks and issues

- Support efficient use of vehicles, including EV charging

Communication & Teamwork

- Stay in regular contact with your team and manager

- Work closely with colleagues to meet daily targets

- Report issues with equipment, systems, or vehicles

- Support other tasks as required across the scheme
