Beyond Blood Diagnostics is a fast growing award winning deep-tech start-up focused on

leveraging microfluidic technology in combination with semiconductors to monitor vital blood

biomarkers critical for cancer patients. T oday cancer patients have no visibility on the

effectiveness of chemotherapy and with our device they can monitor at home as often as they

like the effectiveness of chemotherapy. This position will play a crucial role in bringing our

prototype into patient’s homes and eliminating completely 2 million cancellations every year for

the NHS. The company has already secured over £2m in grant funding over multiple grants

across different innovation projects.

The Role:

• Beyond Blood is looking for an ambitious and hard-working grant writer.

• Full-time permanent position based in central London.

• This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing startup backed by some world-leading

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating in a team to develop proposals, partnerships and grant management.

• Closely working with the senior management team on formulating funding strategies.

Leading the development of multi-country proposals, including project design, team coordination,

proposal writing,

Preferred skills and experience:

We are looking for as many of the following skills as possible but we are looking to give the

opportunity to learn any of these skills for talented people who are highly motivated by the

challenge of what we are trying to achieve.

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or scientific related field.

• Demonstrable work experience in developing proposals for any of the following funders:

- Innovate UK

- SBRI / NIHR

- European innovation grants (EUREKA, HORIZON, EIC, etc)

• Experience in project management.

• Highly entrepreneurial mindset.

• Results oriented with ability to work under pressure.
