Job Description: Clinical Sales Associate
Key Responsibilities
Customer Success & Clinical Support
- Act as the primary liaison with contracted hospitals for case support.
- Coordinate with MR technicians to ensure correct scan uploads and metadata capture.
- Oversee processing outputs and facilitate smooth integration into neuro-navigation systems (Brainlab, Medtronic, etc.).
- Support neurosurgeons, neurologists, and radiologists by providing clinical insights into functional/structural imaging outputs (rs-fMRI, dMRI, tractography, segmentation).
- Participate in surgery planning discussions as a technical/clinical consultant (not a treating physician).
Sales & Business Development
- Engage with prospective hospital leads to showcase solution capabilities and clinical value.
- Conduct demos, present case studies, and address preliminary clinical and technical queries.
- Collaborate with BD/sales leadership to move prospects through the funnel towards contracts (pay-per-use or subscription).
- Represent the company at conferences, CME sessions, and hospital workshops.
Internal Collaboration
- Provide structured feedback to product and research teams on customer needs, workflow issues, and feature requests.
- Document case learnings and contribute to building clinical evidence repository.
- Support the finance/commercial team in case logging and usage reconciliation for invoicing.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or allied health; qualification (MSc Neuroscience, Neuroimaging, MBBS, MTech Biomedical) is desirable.
- 2–5 years’ experience as a clinical specialist in applications support, neuroimaging, neurosurgery support, or medtech sales.
- Those familiar with MRI modalities, PACS workflows, and ideally neuro-navigation systems will be preferred
- Excellent communication skills — ability to engage confidently with neurosurgeons and hospital leadership.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning advanced imaging/ML-based software tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently for on-site hospital support and sales meetings.
