Role Overview
- We are looking for a sales professional with strong exposure to the neuro-surgical segment who can effectively engage with neurosurgeons and hospital stakeholders to drive sustainable business growth.
- The role involves managing key accounts, identifying new opportunities, and navigating hospital administrative structures to build long-term partnerships.
- Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales plans for neuro-surgical products in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with neurosurgeons, OT teams, and key opinion leaders. Effectively present product features, clinical benefits, and value propositions during in-clinic and in-OT interactions. Identify, map, and engage all relevant stakeholders in hospitals (medical, administrative, purchase, and finance) to support sales closure. Navigate hospital administrative processes for product evaluations, registrations, pricing, and tender-related activities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and market share objectives. Conduct regular field visits, case supports, demos, and in-service training as required. Monitor competitor activities and provide timely market intelligence to management.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, opportunities, and sales funnel in CRM/reporting formats. Work closely with marketing, clinical, and operations teams to execute territory-level initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience Graduate in Life Sciences / Biomedical / Pharmacy / Nursing / Allied Health;
- MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management is an added advantage.4–5 years of total experience in healthcare; minimum 2 years in field sales.
- Prior exposure to neuro-surgery, neurology, or related specialties (devices, implants, or consumables) is strongly preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Key Skills & Competencies Strong ability to engage and build rapport with neurosurgeons and senior clinicians.
- Good understanding of hospital decision-making and administrative structures (medical administration, purchase, stores, finance).
- Stakeholder mapping skills with the ability to identify and influence key decision-makers and influencers. Strategic, incremental selling approach focused on step-by-step business growth.
