Solutions Engineer - Healthcare Imaging Integrations

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (with 60-70% travel to hospitals across India)

Job Summary:

We seek a hands-on Solutions Engineer to lead integrations with hospital Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and MRI console interfaces. This role demands extensive on-site travel to hospitals, close collaboration with operations and tech teams, and expertise in deploying seamless, compliant solutions in live clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot integrations between BrainsightAI platform and hospital PACS (e.g., DICOM-compliant systems like GE Centricity, Philips IntelliSpace), RIS (e.g., Epic Radiant, Cerner), and MR consoles (e.g., Siemens Syngo, GE SIGNA).
  • Conduct on-site assessments, installations, and optimizations at hospitals, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with HIPAA/PHI standards.
  • Travel extensively (60-70%) to client sites nationwide, providing hands-on support for deployments, training hospital staff, and resolving integration issues.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams for deployment planning and tech teams for troubleshooting.
  • Perform system testing, data migration, and performance tuning in cloud environments (GCP/AWS) integrated with hospital networks.
  • Document integration processes, generate reports on deployment success metrics, and contribute to product feedback loops.
  • Ensure data security through encryption, de-identification, and secure key management during integrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., DICOM, HL7, CCIE) preferred.
  • 4+ years in healthcare IT integrations, with proven experience in PACS/RIS/MR systems (DICOM/HL7 protocols essential).
  • Strong technical skills: Networking (VPNs, firewalls), scripting (Python/Bash), cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/GKE), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work independently in high-pressure hospital settings.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, Indian DPDP Act) and data privacy tools.
