The Role
We’re hiring a Product Marketing & Communications Lead to support us to package, position, and enable go-to-market for CarbonFarm’s Measurement, Reporting & Verification (MRV) platform—while also helping define and validate the next wave of products and services.
This role sits on the go-to-market team, working directly with our sales and marketing team members. You’ll also collaborate closely with the technical team to translate complex capabilities and methodology constraints into clear, accurate customer-facing narratives and assets.
This role also owns external brand and communications execution, including writing and publishing content and producing lightweight visual assets.
Responsibilities
Positioning, messaging, and packaging
Define and continuously improve positioning, messaging, and value propositions for CarbonFarm’s MRV platform and supporting services.Translate technical and methodological concepts into simple, consistent narratives that resonate with commercial buyers and technical stakeholders.Create and maintain a messaging system (core narrative → pillars → proof points → FAQs) to keep sales, marketing, and product aligned.Partner with go-to-market leadership to shape packaging and commercial offers (what’s included, how it’s described, how it’s sold).Sales enablement
Create and maintain sales assets such as:Pitch decks and demo storylinesProduct guides and overviewsOne-pagers and solution briefsObjection handling + FAQ docsOnboarding guides for new customers/partnersImprove consistency and clarity in how we explain MRV evidence, auditability, and platform limitations—without over-claiming.Growth + new product value propositions
Help frame and test value propositions for new and adjacent products/services (beyond today’s core offering).Evaluate demand through lightweight discovery (customer calls, partner feedback, win/loss notes, pipeline patterns) and synthesise insights into:Clear hypotheses about who it’s for and why it winsRecommended packaging and GTM approachInputs to product prioritisation and roadmap discussionsWork with sales to iterate messaging based on what’s working in real deals.Customer and market insight loop
Run structured customer/partner interviews and turn insights into messaging, enablement, and product inputs.Track competitor/alternative approaches and keep a simple “what we believe + what we’re seeing” view current for the GTM team.Product marketing content
Own core product marketing content used in the sales process (e.g., product pages copy inputs, solution briefs, explainers, diagrams, partner-ready collateral).Collaborate with our content marketer to ensure our external messaging is bolstering awareness and strategic positioning of our technology assets.External brand, narrative, and content execution
Own CarbonFarm’s external-facing narrative and brand expression across channels (LinkedIn/social, website messaging inputs, conferences/events, partner collateral).Write and publish high-quality content that translates technical MRV concepts into clear market-facing messagingProduce lightweight visual assets in-house (simple diagrams, slides, social graphics) and maintain a consistent look and feel.Support event and conference presence end-to-end: submissions, speaker briefs, talk tracks, and booth/handout collateral.Act as a brand steward: ensure consistency in terminology, claims, and positioningLocation
This is a remote role on our global team, so we are flexible in terms of working location. Key requirement is ability to maintain consistent overlap with both Asia and European working hours.
Qualifications/Experience
Required
3–7 years experience in product marketing (or closely related GTM roles) in B2B SaaS.Demonstrated ability to produce sales enablement that helps close deals (decks, guides, onboarding materials, FAQs).Strong writing and editing skills with a bias for clarity and structure.Visual communication skills: you can create clear diagrams, frameworks, and simple visuals to explain complex concepts (you don’t need to be a graphic designer).Experience working closely with product/engineering teams and influencing priorities through market and customer insight.Experience in complex deep tech B2B products and services: data or model based products, geospatial products,Required domain experience in at least one of: climate tech, carbon markets, MRV, remote sensing, agriculture, or sustainability tech.Preferred
Experience marketing to multi-stakeholder buying committees (technical + commercial + compliance).Experience in early-stage startups and ambiguous problem spaces.Familiarity with standards-driven or audit-heavy products.About Us 🌏
