At CoMind, we are developing a non-invasive neuromonitoring technology that will result in a new era of clinical brain monitoring. In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting-edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world.
The Role:
The Commercial team is shaping how CoMind's technology reaches hospitals, clinicians, and patients worldwide. From market access and reimbursement strategy to health economics, KOL engagement, and go-to-market planning, this is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the commercial function for a breakthrough product. If you want to bring a genuinely transformative medical device to market, this is where that work begins.
As Director of Market Access & Clinical Acceptance, you will own and execute CoMind's strategy for bringing a first-in-class neuromonitoring technology into clinical practice. Your mission is to bridge the gap between regulatory clearance and universal clinical adoption — driving clinician education, building society and KOL relationships, and ensuring CoMind's clinical and economic evidence reaches the right audiences. You will be both strategist and executor, working across medical affairs, commercial, and scientific teams to make CoMind One the standard of care.
Responsibilities:
Own and execute CoMind's market access strategy, collaborating with clinical, regulatory, reimbursement, medical affairs, and commercial teams
Own reimbursement strategy and coding pathway development — including payer coverage strategies, CPT/ICD applications, and health economic modelling — in collaboration with specialist expertise
Lead clinician education and adoption efforts — developing and delivering the programmes, materials, and engagements that build understanding and confidence in CoMind's technology across the neuro critical-care community
Partner with the Chief Scientific Officer and R&D teams to disseminate clinical evidence through publications, congress presentations, and KOL engagement — ensuring CoMind's data reaches the right audiences and informs clinical guidelines
Lead strategic engagement with neurocritical care and neurology specialty societies to shape clinical practice guidelines, inform standards of care, and build clinical consensus around continuous neuromonitoring
Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical champions, and advisory board members who can advocate for technology adoption and inform commercial strategy
Represent CoMind at major conferences, advisory boards, and policy forums in neurocritical care, neurology, and health economics
-
AI is fundamental to our culture — it's not just a tool, but a core part of how we work, collaborate, and innovate. We expect all team members to embrace AI in their daily work and continuously find new ways to use it effectively.
Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience in the medical device industry, spanning market access and clinical adoption — with a track record of driving both payer strategy and clinician acceptance of novel technologies
Proven track record engaging clinical specialty societies, guideline committees, and KOL networks to build clinical consensus and accelerate adoption into clinical practice
Experience engaging with clinical specialty societies, guideline committees, or KOL networks to build clinical consensus and influence standards of care
Familiarity with US reimbursement landscapes, payer decision-making, and health economics frameworks — comfortable partnering with specialist expertise to develop coding strategies and economic value propositions
Advanced degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. MD, PhD, MPH or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to operate as both strategist and executor — with a track record of personally driving delivery in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive progress across clinical, regulatory, commercial, and external partners simultaneously
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the presence to represent CoMind externally with clinicians, societies, and payers

Background in neurology, neurocritical care, intensive care, or hospital-based acute care

Experience at an early-stage or pre-commercial medical device company navigating first-in-class market access and clinical adoption challenges
