We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Customer Support Associate to join our friendly Customer Experience team based in Basingstoke. This is a 9 month temporary position initially, but there’s potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Become an active member of our global Operations team from day one! Answering time sensitive customer questions by phone, email, or in person (don’t worry we’ll train you!).
• Maintain accurate notes and records of customer feedback so we can continually improve our products.
• Visiting customer sites across the UK (and potentially beyond) to support the setup of our products and systems, and to train users on how to get the most value from them.
• Partnering closely with our other departments at Converge from Engineering to Sales, proactively identifying opportunities for process and product improvements.
• Learning new skills and helping out with other projects as needed.

• You have customer service experience - this could have been gained in retail, hospitality, internships etc.
• You’re a natural communicator who is positive, empathetic, and clear. You know just how to ask the right questions and you’re adept at anticipating client needs and concerns before they arise.
• You're a skilled organiser - your prioritisation and time management skills are second to none.
• You’re a proven problem solver who can think quickly on your feet and who enjoys going the extra mile to ensure the job is done right.
• You’re quick to pick up new technologies and a confident user of GoogleSuite (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc) and Excel.
• Happy to travel locally with our team to our London office and to construction sites (expenses paid)
• You love learning and see this as a fantastic opportunity to start your career in construction technology.

Salary up to £28k

Based in our Basingstoke office replete with snacks, drinks etc.

• 25 days pro rata’d + Bank Holidays. We also close the office between Christmas and New Year so you can spend more time with your loved ones. Additional benefits include: Company pension, Cycle to Work Scheme so you can help reduce emissions but still get from A to B easily.
