At Feather, you'll be trusted with significant responsibility early on. That means we value engineers who communicate well, take ownership, and are comfortable with uncertainty. If you enjoy shaping both the "what" and the "how" of building products, you'll fit right in.
The technical side matters too, and here's the baseline:
- You've built websites or web applications with Next.js (or similar framework) and have experience with headless CMS platforms.
- You understand SEO fundamentals and care about web performance, accessibility, and user experience.
- You can write clean, maintainable code and make sound architectural decisions.
- You have a good understanding of modern web development workflows (CI/CD pipelines, version control, testing, and deployment).
- You're comfortable working across the stack, from front-end components to build optimization and infrastructure.
But that's it. We don't expect you to know everything about the latest hype architecture or framework. In fact, we prefer hiring someone curious but practical, who can pick the right, often boring, tool for the job.
We don't care about degrees or formal years of experience, and we encourage people who switched to engineering later in their careers to apply. If you enjoy the challenge and can learn fast, the team will provide you with the support you need.
