The Role
You will work with the Head of PMO and other members of the leadership team to manage the delivery of software to internal and external customers. Internally you will be accountable for managing delivery of product features to our Product department, and externally you will project manage a variety of projects to a potentially diverse customer base. Part of your role will be to work with other members of the leadership team to help improve the sophistication and maturity of our software development processes, and in scaling and growing a world class software engineering organisation

Key Responsibilities
Project managing delivery of roadmap items to our Product team
Project managing customer projects, ensuring successful delivery and customer retention
Understanding the nature of each project and putting in place appropriate structure and clear objectives and milestones for the delivery team
Liaising with the Hadean Product team to ensure that Product features are prioritised in the best interest of Hadean and our customers
Liaising effectively with all project stakeholders
Compiling and submitting project status reports to customers, management and other stakeholders
Planning deliverables and ensuring that they are assigned the right resources to deliver successfully
Monitoring progress against agreed delivery dates to ensure timely delivery
Identifying and actively manage risks and issues to minimise impact on delivery
Capturing actions and ensuring that they are actioned in a timely manner
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Education and/or related training or experience equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a software development environment
Demonstrate an understanding of project management theory, including waterfall and agile methodologies
Experience delivering projects within a defined SDLC
Excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills
Ability to work well with business stakeholders and internal customers (experience managing external customers preferred, as flexibility may be needed due to project demands)
Proficiency with planning and monitoring tools, including spreadsheets
Comfortable working with incomplete information and uncertainty
Ability to identify ambiguous requirements and take action to agree a way forward
Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced global / remote working environment
Ability to engage in limited travel including international travel
Flexibility when working with customers and teams from other time zones
Demonstrated the following personal characteristics: high energy, self-starter, versatility, personal responsibility and accountability, leadership skills
Comfort and ability to speak clearly and make presentations in front of 20 people or more
Experience line managing individual contributors
Hands-on experience with JIRA preferred
Must be a citizen of the United Kingdom
