Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Research Scientist to contribute to the development and implementation of novel water treatment technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with the R&D team to design experiments, validate new technologies, and support product development. This position focuses on hands-on research and technical innovation with minimal managerial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research & Development: Conduct experiments, develop testing protocols, and analyze data to drive the development of innovative water treatment technologies.
  • Prototype Development: Design and execute lab-scale experiments to validate new concepts and technologies.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Address technical challenges with creative and innovative solutions in a collaborative research environment.
  • Regulatory Support: Assist in ensuring all research activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of experiments, data analysis, and findings to support R&D goals and reporting requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to align research activities with the company’s objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven research and laboratory work skills. Hands-on experience working in a research environment, including designing and conducting experiments and analyzing data.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in designing and conducting experiments related to water treatment technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with the development and testing of lab-scale systems and prototypes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, particularly for technical documentation and presentations.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry standards and the regulatory framework related to water treatment technologies.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Experience in electrochemical technologies such as electro-oxidation and electro-coagulation or electrode development background.
  • Familiarity with control systems and process engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years working in a research-focused environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
