We are currently looking for a UI/UX development intern to be a key part of our team who can resonate with end-users and translate their needs into features of our product. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn on the job and experience working in the agile environment of a start-up.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES- Conduct usability testing and deconstruct our users’ digital interactions and habits.- Communicate with users to understand their goals and objectives.- Conduct user research and gather user requirements.- Create user stories and user journey maps to illustrate design ideas.- Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes and prototypes.QUALIFICATIONSTechnical Requirements- Higher Nitec in IT Applications Development or related field.- Familiar with designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using Figma or Adobe XD or similar.- A portfolio of design experience in the field of UI/UX.- Good to have: prior experience with front-end mobile app development (Flutter/Dart); prior experience with front-end web app development.Non–Technical Requirements- Strong leadership and management skills.- Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written, English).- Able to work under the pressures of a startup environment.APPLICATION INFODrop us an email at info@kinexcs.com with your resume/cover letter (optional) with the relevant job title as your email subject.
