KIMIA Recover is a comprehensive recovery management solution providing reduction in number of hospital visits and complications for Total Knee Replacement Patients. The product was also the National Winner and International Top 20 of the prestigious James Dyson Award, and has gained traction with major public hospitals and orthopedic clinics.Their digital therapy platform, consisting of KIMIA Assess, uses artificial intelligence technology for digital MSK assessment and therapy. This platform is capable of providing pre-consultation assessments and real-time exercise guidance and feedback to musculoskeletal patients, and is being adopted by some of the largest private healthcare providers in the region, along with large corporate players.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, infrastructure management, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate should have experience building and maintaining secure, scalable cloud environments and automated deployment pipelines.

The candidate will work closely with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to improve application deployment, system reliability, automation, monitoring, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, maintain, and support infrastructure on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, security validation, and application deployment.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, Lambda, and related services.
  • Implement secure AWS IAM policies, roles, security groups, network controls, and access-management practices.
  • Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, including source-code scanning, dependency scanning, container scanning, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Manage and maintain containerized applications using Docker and, where applicable, Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions using AWS CloudWatch or other monitoring platforms.
  • Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, application, network, and performance-related issues.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Manage application secrets and credentials securely using services such as AWS Secrets Manager, AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store, or equivalent solutions.
  • Participate in application releases, production deployments, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
  • Work with development teams to improve deployment reliability, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Follow cloud security, DevSecOps, configuration-management, and infrastructure-hardening best practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, infrastructure configurations, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills:

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with tools such as:
  • Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline / CodeBuild, Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and source-code management workflows.
  • Experience with Docker and container-based application deployments.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or AWS EKS is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Bash, Shell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Understanding of AWS networking concepts including VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, NAT gateways, and load balancers.
  • Good understanding of IAM, least-privilege access, encryption, secrets management, and cloud-security best practices.
  • Experience integrating security tools or security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates, HTTPS, encryption at rest, and encryption in transit.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or equivalent solutions.
  • Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

DevSecOps / Security Experience:

The candidate should have practical exposure to implementing security within DevOps processes, including:

  • IAM roles and policies following the principle of least privilege.
  • Secure handling of application secrets, API keys, passwords, and certificates.
  • CI/CD security scanning and quality gates.
  • Static Application Security Testing (SAST).
  • Software Composition Analysis / dependency vulnerability scanning.
  • Container image vulnerability scanning.
  • Infrastructure as Code security scanning.
  • Security-group and network-access configuration.
  • AWS CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Security Hub, or similar AWS security services.
  • Patch management and vulnerability-remediation processes.
  • Security controls for production deployments and access management.
