Job Description

Also called PAI (Product As Ingredient) European Manager :

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced European Sales Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, specifically within the food manufacturing sector, and a deep understanding of ingredient sales to food manufacturers. Our products are already featured in major manufacturing partners' recipes across Europe (Sainsbury's, Albert Heijn, Kumo, Waitrose, Rebl Eat, etc.) and the results are stunning. This is a unique opportunity to play a unique role in expanding La Vie's presence in the European market and driving the adoption of our tasty plant-based meat products.

Responsibilities:

1. Define and drive the right industrial strategy with our Head of Foodservice

  • Map the right partners across Europe that fit our use cases.

  • Define the right product portfolio. Provide market insights and feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of La Vie's product offerings.

  • Define the best go to market strategy.

2. Actively identify, chase and close deals across Europe + UK

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in food manufacturing companies.

  • Drive La Vie awareness by launching co-branded partnerships with great visibility for our brand.

  • Represent La Vie at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and products.

3. Manage current customers and drive upsell

  • Managing our direct clients (Greencore, Kumo, Rebl Eat, etc.)

  • Driving and sharing best practices with our distributor partners in specific regions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics, to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Preferred Experience

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience, with a focus on selling ingredients to food manufacturers.

  • In-depth knowledge of the European food manufacturing landscape, with established connections in the industry.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Willingness to travel within Europe as needed.

Recruitment Process
