Job Description
Your Role
La Vie is on a mission to revolutionize plant-based food, with international expansion driving our growth. We’re looking for a motivated intern to join our Operations team as a Demand Planning Intern.
In this role, you’ll support the forecasting and inventory planning processes to ensure optimal product availability, while minimizing waste and excess stock.
Your Missions
Forecasting & demand analysis 📦
Assist in building short and long-term demand forecasts based on sales data, market trends, and commercial insights
Analyze historical data and identify key demand patterns and seasonality
Monitor forecast accuracy and help propose improvements to forecasting models
Inventory & supply chain support 📊
Collaborate with the operations team to manage stock levels and anticipate supply needs
Support the coordination of production planning to align with demand
Help identify risks of out of stock or overstock situations and propose mitigating actions
Cross-functional coordination 🧠
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Logistics teams to gather qualitative inputs for demand planning
Support internal meetings and report key metrics related to demand and inventory
Assist with tools and dashboards used for forecasting and performance tracking
Preferred Experience
Hard Skills
You have an academic background in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related analytical fields
You have strong analytical skills 👉 Excel/Google Sheets skills is a big plus
You are fluent in English and in French
Soft Skills
You are methodical, detail-oriented and abode all highly organized !
You are curious and want to learn and improve processes
You enjoy working in a team and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Recruitment Process
You will have a first video call with the HR team and a second interview with your future manager, Rory, followed by a business case !
