The position

Job description

La Vie is on a mission to make plant based proteins tastier and cooler than animal ones.

In five years, we have built one of the most loved plant based brands in Europe. We operate in retail and foodservice across France and the UK as priority markets, and are present in 10 countries. Our portfolio spans meat analog products, plant based sandwiches, a delivery offer, and soon new categories beyond meat analog.

Creativity is at the core of our growth model.

The Brand & Communication Lead reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and manages two team members and two trainees.

As Head of Brand & Creative, you are responsible for making La Vie one of the most loved and culturally relevant food brands in Europe.
You act as the guardian of the brand while constantly pushing it forward.
You lead the La Vie Studio.

1. Brand leadership & creative excellence

Own the creative direction of La Vie across all consumer touchpoints:

  • Brand campaigns

  • Activations & events

  • Partnerships & collaborations

  • Social media

  • Influence

  • Packaging

  • Retail & foodservice communication

Develop strong creative concepts and oversee their execution from idea to launch.

Act as the ultimate brand guardian, ensuring consistency while constantly elevating the quality and ambition of the work.

Partner closely with the CMO on defining the future of the brand.

2. Creative operations & studio management

Build and run a best-in-class creative production process.

You will:

  • Transform business requests into clear, inspiring and actionable briefs

  • Improve the quality of briefs coming from Innovation, France and UK marketing teams

  • Establish a “Gold In, Gold Out” culture across the organisation

  • Prioritise projects and manage studio capacity

  • Define what should be produced:

    • internally

    • through freelancers

    • through agencies

  • Coordinate all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

  • Own planning, timelines and delivery dates

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and at the expected quality level

You are responsible for making creativity scalable without killing creativity.

3. Social media & influence leadership

Work closely with the Social & Influence team to elevate La Vie’s content strategy in France and the UK.

You will:

  • Raise the creative standard of all content produced

  • Bring stronger cultural relevance and consumer insight into content creation

  • Improve editorial planning and content workflows

  • Identify new content formats and creative opportunities

  • Help teams create content that people genuinely want to watch, share and talk about

4. Partnerships, PR & influence

Lead La Vie’s most impactful brand partnerships and influence programs.

You will:

  • Identify the right creators, communities and cultural partners

  • Develop breakthrough collaborations that generate earned media and cultural relevance

  • Create iconic partnerships similar to Burger King, Picard or other category-defining collaborations

  • Oversee influencer activations from strategy to execution

  • Maximise PR and social impact of brand initiatives

5. Team leadership**

Manage and develop:

  • Social & Influence Managers

  • Art Directors

  • Freelancers

  • Creative agencies

  • Production partners

Create a culture of excellence, speed, ownership and creativity.


Preferred experience

  • 8+ years of experience in an advertising or creative agency, with a proven track record as a creative lead

  • Dual skillset: strong creative vision (art direction and/or copywriting) combined with hands-on project management ability

  • Hands on, solution oriented and comfortable in fast moving environments.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to align senior stakeholders and mobilise transversal teams.

  • Passion for food, trends and culture.

  • Creative thinker who can go beyond functional product attributes and build concepts that consumers love.

  • High standards of execution and a sharp sense of business impact.

  • Genuine interest in sustainability and positive impact.

  • Fluent in French and in English


Recruitment process

You will first have a video call with someone from the HR team followed by interviews with Romain, our CMO, and key team members. We will also ask you to work on a practical case study focused and meet Nicolas, our CEO.
