Working in our People Team

The People Team is at the heart of life at Open Cosmos. Covering HR, Talent Acquisition, and Office Management, the team attracts great people, supports them through every stage of their journey, and creates a workplace where everyone can thrive.

As we continue to scale, we’re strengthening our People Team with an additional Senior People Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract — someone who can bring experience, pace, and pragmatism to support both our leaders and our existing team through a period of growth.

What will you be doing?

This role is about adding strength and depth — supporting ongoing initiatives, sharing ownership of key priorities, and helping the business scale in a structured, people-first way.

In a fast-moving environment, you’ll balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, stepping in where needed to keep momentum high.

You will:

• Partner with leaders to drive engagement, performance, and organisational effectiveness

• Support and deliver people initiatives that improve employee experience and business outcomes

• Contribute to workforce planning, including capability development, succession planning, and risk mitigation

• Support the design and delivery of leadership development initiatives

• Use data and insights (e.g. engagement surveys) to inform and refine people strategies

• Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, ensuring fair, efficient, and compliant processes

• Ensure local employment compliance and adapt global policies to regional requirements

• Provide additional capacity and expertise to support business growth and change

What You’ll bring

• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, scaling environment

• A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset — comfortable stepping in and adding value quickly

• Confidence handling complex employee relations matters with sound judgement

• Strong understanding of employment law, ideally across multiple regions

• Excellent communication skills — clear, credible, and able to influence at all levels

• Analytical thinking, using data to support decisions and recommendations

• Commercial awareness and understanding of how people strategy supports business performance

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, support change, and maintain momentum

• A collaborative approach — someone who integrates quickly and strengthens the wider team
