Role Description: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address challenges within the (re)insurance domain. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Python and PowerBI are essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables

· Evaluate client workflows and implement improvement solutions.

· Analyze data and present reports using Python and PowerBI.

· Conduct detailed business/client analysis to outline problems, opportunities, and solutions.

· Present findings to stakeholders, emphasizing results and business impacts.

· Utilize cat modelling for account and portfolio analysis.

· Identify gaps in products/models and prioritize functionalities.

· Document project decisions and processes.

· Propose product/process enhancements.

· Manage communications independently with clients and internal teams.

Requirements:

· B.E / B. Tech (preferably Civil/Mechanical Engineering) from IIT/NIT or other reputed universities

OR

· MBA Finance/Insurance/Operations Research or master’s in mathematics/ Statistics/Operations Research/Economics from top-tier universities.

· 7+ years’ experience in risk/ business/ data analytics for P&C insurance, reinsurance, or insurance linked securities as business analyst or advisory role

· Extensive understanding of the (re)insurance industry. Knowledge of RMS or other vendor models is beneficial.

· Proven project management experience.

Preferred Skills:

· Knowledge of R, Python and Power BI

· Skilled in incorporating third-party APIs into workflows

· Cat models/ Policy admin systems/ Exposure Management tools

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Strong database and data mining skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Collaborative and stakeholder management
