The Credit Centre of Excellence (COE) team at Moody’s Analytics is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our industry-leading credit analytics and predictive modelling capabilities. We work closely with various departments including product management, commercial strategy, and go-to-market leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality credit risk assessments and solutions. This collaborative approach allows the COE to integrate seamlessly into Moody's Analytics structure to support and grow our customers’ business operations and enhance their ability to navigate risk.

Moody’s Analytics is seeking a seasoned product manager to lead risk solution development within its Credit Centre of Excellence. The role focuses on managing product scope and requirements in uncertain, evolving project environments, especially in financial services involving large datasets and statistical modeling. The role will lead product management for risk solutions in uncertain environments, defining scope and requirements for complex financial products with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead discussions with product management and strategy teams to develop novel solutions for analytical solutions in environments where initial scope and requirements are unclear or evolving.
Collaborate closely with research teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders to progressively define project requirements and scope boundaries.
Manage cross-functional teams working on complex projects involving large datasets, statistical modeling, and AI agent systems.
Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements elicitation across multiple business segments to extract insights and clarify understanding.
Assess project feasibility, manage risks, and make informed decisions with incomplete information to ensure deliverable outcomes.
Translate research findings and technical capabilities into actionable product features that deliver measurable business value.
Navigate ambiguous project environments while maintaining focus on strategic objectives and business outcomes.
Coordinate with senior business leaders to align product initiatives with organizational goals and market opportunities.
Skills and Competencies:
7+ years of demonstratable experience of core product management practices (road mapping, prioritisation, feature definition), within dynamic project environments where scope and requirements evolved during the process of requirements elicitation. Experience within financial services, particularly involving large datasets and statistical modelling, is preferred.
7+ years' experience in systematic requirements gathering, stakeholder interviewing, and progressive scope definition in contexts with incomplete initial information, ideally within financial services industry or using large datasets.
Proficiency in leveraging GenAI tools to synthesize complex stakeholder inputs, generate structured requirement, and create comprehensive scope documentation that bridges technical concepts and business understanding.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across business units and geographies to drive alignment and execution. Experience of working with senior stakeholders is highly preferred.
7 -10 years’ experience identifying, evaluating, and managing risks when project parameters are unclear, including skills to make informed decisions with incomplete information within financial services contexts involving large data sets and statistical modelling.
Experience using Jira preferred
Background in a data analysis function preferred
Proven ability to analyze, optimize, or establish new workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional alignment, particularly in environments with evolving requirements or complex data dependencies.
Familiarity with credit risk modeling concepts, methodologies, and their applications in financial services is preferred. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, tailored manner to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $141,200.00 - $204,650.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
