Skills and Competencies
- At least two to three years’ experience working in a corporate environment with an interest in finance.
- Highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work within a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
- Possess strong time management skills and a high level of focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in using software tools
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency.
- Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
- A Bachelor’s/undergraduate degree is required
Responsibilities
The successful Credit Associate will provide comprehensive assistance and support to the Methodology Review Group (MRG), focusing on Methodology Reviews, Methodology Approvals, and Rating Committee Review processes. Additionally, the role involves preparing and managing MRG reporting, handling regulatory reporting requirements, and addressing ad hoc requests to support the team as needed.
- Provide assistance and support to the MRG group in managing the various processes and tasks involved around the methodology review, methodology approval and credit rating action review process.
- Prepare and manage MRG and regulatory reporting, ensuring high accuracy and completion in a timely manner.
- Participate in recurring compliance and regulatory requests
- Collaborate with various departments globally to gather necessary information and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Address ad hoc requests to support the team as needed.

Our Methodology Review Group (MRG) team is responsible for the independent review and approval of all credit rating methodologies used globally across Moody's. By ensuring the integrity, rigor, and consistency of our methodologies, the MRG plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and credibility of our ratings.
By joining our Operations team, you will be part of a highly visible group that helps drive the accuracy and efficiency of our processes for our core activities, which are essential to maintaining Moody’s high standards of analytical excellence.
