Skills and Competencies
As Director of Strategic Enablement for Moody’s Analytics (MA), you will spearhead high-impact programs that accelerate our growth and transformation. Reporting to the SD of Strategic Initiatives, you will partner with executive leadership across Strategy, Product, Sales, Finance, etc. to tackle the most pressing priorities. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organization to ensure that we constantly identify, prioritize, and deliver transformative initiatives that will drive value for MA. If you are a strategic thinker with a bias for action who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, then this role is for you.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Initiative identification & prioritization:
- Manage E2E process of defining, prioritizing, and managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives
- Ensure clear development of business case and execution roadmap
- Program execution & change management:
- Lead cross-functional program teams, and develop change management plan: identifying key stakeholders, clear KPIs, timelines, etc.
- Proactively identify dependencies and risks; escalate issues with proposed resolutions to executive stakeholders
- Create appropriate materials to guide progress and ensure continuous progress (against pre-established timelines, KPIs)
- Cross-functional stakeholder alignment & executive presence:
- Facilitate executive-level workshops and steering-committee meetings to align stakeholders and secure senior leadership buy-in across the organization
- Synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into concise presentations and recommendations for C-suite and Board-level audience
- Market & data analysis:
- Stay up to date on emerging technology, trends in the market etc.
- Conduct internal capability analyses to surface growth opportunities, operational efficiencies, and technology enablers
About the team
We partner closely with each business unit, sales and finance leaders to ensure cohesive execution across portfolio strategy, strategic investments and segment-specific plans. Our work is grounded in rigorous analysis, cross-functional collaboration and a commitment to delivering sustainable value across the enterprise.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $163,300.00 - $236,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
