- Graduate degree (MBA or equivalent) in business, strategy, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in insurance, product strategy, or strategic planning, with exposure to casualty lines and multi-product coordination.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional product teams and delivering strategic outputs across multiple domains.
- Strong understanding of JTBD frameworks, persona development, and value proposition design.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex roadmaps and align execution across engineering, modelling, data, and commercial teams.
- Excellent analytical skills, including ROI analysis and market sizing.
- Experience with build/buy/partner evaluations and strategic planning processes.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Familiarity with underwriting workflows, exposure analytics, and litigation data is a plus.

Responsibilities
Lead the coordination and execution of product strategy across casualty and financial lines by managing a team responsible for Underwriting, Exposure Management & Modelling, and Litigation Tracking & Data Strategy.
- Define and maintain a north-star product vision that aligns with Moody’s long-term growth goals and integrates strategic priorities across the three domains.
- Guide the development of JTBD frameworks, MVP definitions, and solution designs across all product areas, ensuring consistency and strategic alignment.
- Support roadmap planning and delivery across underwriting decision support (e.g. Agentic AI, triage, risk scoring), exposure analytics (e.g. accumulation tracking, scenario modelling), and litigation tracking (e.g. structured data, GenAI assistant, enrichment).
- Collaborate with engineering, modelling, legal, data estate, and platform teams to ensure scalable, integrated solutions are delivered on time and to specification.
- Support customer validation efforts across all domains, ensuring feedback loops with underwriters, actuaries, claims managers, and legal stakeholders inform roadmap refinement.
- Conduct build/buy/partner analysis across product areas and provide input into strategic partnerships and acquisition opportunities.
- Analyse market trends, regulatory drivers, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to inform cross-domain product positioning and prioritisation.
- Prepare business cases, investment proposals, and strategic plans that reflect the integrated needs and outputs of the full product strategy team.
- Track performance against strategic KPIs and support reporting and governance processes across all product domains.
- Contribute to pricing and packaging strategies, sales enablement, and GTM planning across underwriting, modelling, and litigation solutions.
- Monitor execution across internal departments and ensure delivery against strategic objectives, resource plans, and platform integration requirements.
About the Team
Moody’s casualty is a newly formed sub-segment within the Moody’s Insurance Business Unit responsible for delivering data and analytics to the global casualty insurance market. This role will report into the model product development team that is responsible for identifying new model capabilities that will drive growth in Moody’s casualty, developing model requirements, enabling sales and marketing teams, and maintaining the regular flow of emerging risk information in Moody’s casualty products. Company information is a crucial component of the Moody’s casualty product offering allowing users to assess a company’s most material emerging risks and manage emerging risk aggregations within casualty portfolios.
