Title: Analytics & Modeling Analyst

Duties: Collaborate with different lines of business and stakeholders to support methodology development for Structured Finance and Fundamental asset classes. Design and calibrate credit rating models and scorecards used in the ratings process, prepare documentation along the model calibration process to ensure replicability, and adhere to model verification/validation requirements. Research econometric, statistical, and mathematical techniques to evaluate the performance of econometric models. Assist with quantitative projects to update and improve existing credit rating models and scorecards. Contribute to white papers to demonstrate the rigor of the modeling approach, research depth, and provide transparency to the market.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, or related, plus at least six (6) months of experience as a Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, or related position performing financial risk and statistical modeling. Must have experience with the following: modeling, data mining, and machine learning algorithms with large scale financial data and geospatial data in cloud environments to identify and analyze market patterns and trends; financial markets and commercial real estate; large scale data analysis in financial risk management and CRE market; Python, R, SQL, MATLAB; AWS, data warehouse, and data lake; packing/deployment of code including Conda, PyP and Anaconda; and scientific Python stack including NumPy and Pandas.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $112,778 to $156,200/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
