Skills and Competencies

  • 4+ years of experience in an analytics, data science, or business intelligence role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently structure approaches to open-ended questions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytical tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and align multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into business insights and recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage deadlines independently.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Python for data analysis or automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Background in commercial analytics, including any of the following: pricing, market sizing, churn risk modeling, and sales analytics.

Education
Bachelor Degree in related fields, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, propose data-driven approaches, deliver actionable insights, and manage expectations through effective communication.

  • Lead the development of analytical solutions by independently identifying problems, designing methodologies, and executing analyses with a commercial focus.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business questions, define success criteria, and scope analytical projects appropriately.
  • Proactively propose approaches and frameworks to solve ambiguous or complex problems using data.
  • Translate technical results into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations by setting clear timelines, communicating risks, and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with central strategy, data platform, finance, sales and product teams as needed.
  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.

About the team

Our Commercial Analytics team plays a critical role in leveraging data and analytics to support business decision-making, improve commercial performance, and drive strategic initiatives. Its primary focus is on analyzing customer, market, and sales data to provide actionable insights that inform pricing strategies, revenue optimization, customer acquisition efforts, and overall business growth.

By joining our team, you will be responsible for independently driving analytical initiatives from ideation to execution, with a strong focus on building commercial analytics capabilities that support segment strategy across sales, go-to-market (GTM), and product. This includes projects such as market sizing, cross-sell analysis, churn risk modeling, and other data-driven approaches to improve commercial performance.
