Skills and Competencies
- 1–2 years’ experience in QA testing (manual and automation)
- Familiarity with automation tools, Jira, and Confluence (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Ensures business requirements are met through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develops and executes test cases and scripts, reports defects, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Participate in UAT and all phases of the testing lifecycle
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
- Develop automated scripts and conduct manual testing
- Document and report defects; provide updates to stakeholders
- Continuously improve testing processes
About the Team
The Business Functional UAT Testing team validates product enhancements and bug fixes before production, ensuring high-quality releases for Moody’s Ratings & Research global users. The team focuses on effective communication, prompt issue resolution, and continuous improvement
