Skills and Competencies

  • Understanding of credit methodologies and financial statement analysis
  • 1–3 years’ experience in credit/financial data interpretation
  • Exposure to finance/accounting (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-driven and effective in fast-paced environments
  • Additional language skills may be required for specific roles

Education

  • Masters in engineering, Finance, Economics or Business/Accounting Or Certified CA/ CFA.

Responsibilities

  • Apply MR standards to financial data for ratings and research
  • Perform data intake tasks: scrubbing, validation, and issue resolution
  • Review financial reports and issuer documents for key metrics
  • Collaborate with analysts to clarify data requirements and accounting applications
  • Independently manage BAU deliverables (e.g., portfolio reviews, credit opinions)
  • Support process improvements and mentor junior team members

About the team

Our Analytic Data Operations (ADO) team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data used in Moody’s ratings and research.

We contribute to Moody’s by:

• Enhancing data quality and consistency across global teams

• Supporting analytic workflows with standardized processes

• Driving innovation in data governance and knowledge management
