Successful candidate must possess a blend of business and technical know-how and be highly client and solution focused.
Requirements for this position are as follows:
- Minimum experience of 12 years in P&C industry
- Possess in-depth understanding of P&C Reinsurance and Insurance industry and markets
- Hands-on Reinsurance application knowledge and experience
- Hands-on experience of multiple Moody’s RMS products, models and platform including Risk Modeler and Treaty IQ.
- Strong Presales experience to drive Business Growth targets with Moody’s Sales team
- Hands-on experience of solutioning such as Innovative solutioning for clients’ business requirements, Proposal development, RFI/RFP responses etc.
- Hands-on experience of on-demand projects
- Understanding of Europe market will be added advantage
- Excellence in people management, with a proven ability to inspire, mobilise, and motivate high-performing teams of intellectual professionals
- Be an excellent team player with high degree of self-motivation while being able to work independently, collaborate with global colleagues (as required) and lead initiatives
- Multi-tasking skills with ability to deftly manage multiple clients simultaneously and independently
- Flexibility to work as per role requirements
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to understand client requirements
- Effective English written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Post Graduate degree in Insurance or Masters in any of the Quantitative Sciences streams (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research)
Industry (Re)Insurance certifications will be added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Excellence:
- Deliver excellent service to clients making best use of team’s risk analytical competencies
- Deepen existing customer relationships and develop new ones
- Establish and nurture key relationships in the client organization
Partnership:
- Build market, risk and model expertise in the team to be an equal partner for clients on risk analytics and model topics
- Work in a multi-cultural environment collaborating and partnering with colleagues from functions such as Product Development, Client Success, Sales, Marketing, Consulting and Pre
- Sales across Moody’s to design customized solutions for European clients based on country-specific regulations and demand
Growth:
- Develop strong relationship with Sales organization and develop go to market strategy and robust sales pipeline for growth
- Develop in-depth Market and Content understanding so that customized solutions can be offered to clients
- Partner with Sales and MPS to explore newer avenues of service offerings that can be offered to customers based on geography demand
- Deepen and expand on the current service offering through extensive Renewal Account planning to identify opportune areas for Business Growth
- Lead the development of client service propositions and service delivery strategy for new opportunities
- Proactive and Speedy Pricing Support to Sales Reps with collaboration in Solutioning and Proposal/RFP designing
- End-to-End ownership of Account from New Client Acquisition till Customer Renewal & Retention
Expertise:
- Demonstrate strong Reinsurance and platform knowledge (Risk Modeler, Treaty IQ and other latest models & platforms) to consistently deliver excellence to clients
- Strong Presales skills
- Provide Innovative and Bespoke Solutioning to solve complex technical problems for clients
- Create a content focused organization. Hire, develop and lead employee base to support the current business and future ambition.
- Participate in onboarding client for any new model or process through knowledge driven approach.
- Demonstrate expertise on New Models, Products and Emerging Risks
Leadership:
- Actively contribute to shaping the future of Analytical Services
- Guide and develop the team technically and operationally to deliver on complex and time-critical projects
- Keep the team motivated and challenged to drive innovation and process efficiency

Our Analytical & Data Services team provides integrated data and analytical solutions based on RMS catastrophe models. We support global insurance and reinsurance clients in underwriting, portfolio management, and risk transfer. We specialize in exposure data analysis, catastrophe modeling, and loss distribution insights. We work with Fortune 500 clients and contribute to Moody’s mission of helping the world better manage risk.
