Skills and Competencies
- 15+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, including 5+ years leading high-performing teams and delivering standout results in fast-paced, complex environments.
- Proven mastery in crafting and executing marketing strategies, demand generation programmes, and product marketing initiatives that drive measurable impact.
- A natural leader with a track record of inspiring and empowering marketing teams to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Skilled in orchestrating cross-functional initiatives—aligning product, sales, and communications teams around a shared vision, and influencing senior stakeholders to unlock strategic business value.
- Solid understanding of the financial services and fintech landscape, with the ability to translate industry nuances into compelling marketing narratives (preferred).
- Strong grasp of artificial intelligence concepts, with the ability to guide teams in applying AI tools to streamline workflows, uncover insights, and boost marketing efficiency.
- Curious and forward-thinking mindset with a passion for exploring AI systems and a commitment to learning responsible AI practices—including risk management, ethical use, and transparency.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field—bringing a strong foundation in strategic thinking, storytelling, and commercial acumen.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. digital marketing, product marketing, AI in marketing) are a plus—demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and leadership excellence.
Responsibilities
This role leads a powerhouse global marketing team that crafts and delivers bold, high-impact strategies for innovative products and content solutions—driving growth, engagement and visibility across key sectors including Banking, Asset Management, Insurance, Corporates, and Government.
- Define and own the bold marketing vision for the Digital Content & Innovation business unit, with a sharp focus on demand generation and product marketing that fuels commercial success and aligns with strategic goals.
- Inspire and empower a high-performing, cross-functional marketing team—spanning product marketing, demand generation, content creation, and customer marketing—to push creative boundaries and deliver measurable impact.
- Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for new product launches and feature enhancements across Moody’s AI solutions, CreditView, Structured Finance, and Data & Media offerings—ensuring every launch lands with precision and power.
- Create compelling, customer-centric content (brochures, interactive demos, web pages, blog posts, presentations, case studies, sales collateral) that transforms complex capabilities into clear, engaging stories that resonate.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to uncover deep market and competitive insights, shaping sharp positioning, messaging, and enablement materials that differentiate Moody’s in the marketplace.
- Deliver world-class sales enablement—equipping global sales teams with persuasive product collateral, training, and insights that boost confidence and drive conversions.
- Collaborate seamlessly with product strategy, branding, demand generation, sales leadership, and customer success to deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns that connect and convert.
- Engage directly with stakeholders and customers—conducting interviews, testing messaging, and gathering feedback—to ensure relevance, clarity, and impact.
- Monitor emerging trends in AI, regulatory shifts, and fintech innovation—bringing strategic recommendations that keep Moody’s ahead of the curve and future-ready.
- Measure and analyse campaign performance—turning data into actionable insights that elevate future launches and optimise go-to-market effectiveness.
- Partner with customer success to build marketing programmes that drive product adoption, customer expansion, and long-term loyalty.
Amplify Moody’s Ratings thought leadership through a robust, multi-channel marketing strategy that drives engagement, readership, and brand authority. - Champion a data-driven marketing culture—leveraging analytics to inform strategy, monitor KPIs, optimise performance, and deliver impactful reporting that fuels continuous improvement and business outcomes.
- Promote alignment and collaboration across corporate communications, brand, marketing, sales, sales enablement, product, customer success, and business leadership—ensuring unified messaging and maximum impact.
About the team
This role sits within the Marketing Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director and Head of Global Marketing for Moody’s.
You’ll lead a global team of nine marketers responsible for driving demand generation and product marketing strategies that support Moody’s Analytics growth goals. The team serves multiple industry sectors —powering Moody’s next-generation content delivery platform, advancing innovation in areas like AI, and amplifying Moody’s Ratings thought leadership.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $198,300.00 - $287,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
