Skills and competencies
• Strong expertise in AWS services and proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Solid familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of ML/AI infrastructure and adherence to security best practices.
• Proven track record of managing teams and delivering complex technical projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• 7+ years of experience in deploying and managing large-scale machine learning and generative AI applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services.

Education
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty).

Roles and responsibilities
To strengthen our team, we seek an experienced manager to lead and oversee our teams of MLOps and cloud system engineers. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless integration and operation of our AI and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead and manage a team of MLOps engineers and cloud system engineers, ensuring alignment with strategic AI initiatives.
• Oversee the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud and ML infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure provisioning, model deployment, and security compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, leveraging automation and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Optimize the costs of our cloud resources while ensuring the optimal performance of our AI solutions.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, openness, and innovation within and across teams.
• Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and skill enhancement.

Moody’s Ratings’ AI Analytics group develops advanced machine learning (ML) and generative AI solutions for high-profile data science initiatives.
