Skills and Competencies

  • 5-8 years’ experience in software development
  • Angular, .NET, and Microsoft stack expertise
  • 3+ years minimum experience with REST/RPC APIs, ASP.NET Core, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, MVC
  • Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills
  • Effective collaborator and communicator

Education

  • Bachelors Degree required and Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field good to have

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Angular, ASP.NET Core and other Microsoft Technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Participate in all phases of the development of lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
  • Actively participate in code reviews to ensure that the code adheres to quality standards and fulfils the necessary functional specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and upgrade existing systems as necessary.
  • Document development phases and monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

About the Team

Our Ratings Technology team is responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications that support Moody’s Ratings business.
