As a Quantitative Developer, you will design, implement, and optimize financial analytics systems for our leading-edge asset liability management product. This is an opportunity to translate world-class financial research into production-grade applications and drive innovation in financial technology. You will work in a dynamic international environment, collaborating with teams and clients across different countries and time zones.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement financial models and analytics in production systems working closely with Research and Product Management teams
- Develop high-performance calculation engines for complex financial instruments and risk metrics
- Optimize system performance for large-scale financial computations
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for testing and code validation
- Collaborate with QFA team to ensure code quality and model accuracy
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients
Skills and competencies
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience, ideally in a cross-platform environment (Windows and Linux)
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or closely-related quantitative field
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C++, C#, Scala, Java, or Python
- Genuine interest in finance and/or mathematics, with a passion for programming and using technology to solve quantitative challenges
- Experience with numerical computing libraries and optimization techniques
- Strong computational and algorithmic problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate mathematical models into efficient, maintainable code
- Experience with version control (Git/Github), CI/CD, and modern development practices
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, is a mandatory requirement
Additional desirable skills
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and interest in applying and using them
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in teams
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
- Spoken French is a plus
