Skills and Competencies
- Over 5 years of experience in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors) across modules like Employee Central, Recruiting, and Onboarding, with expertise in system configuration and customization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HRIS platforms, the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and aligning systems with organizational objectives and HR workflows.
- Proven project management experience, including requirement gathering, implementation, user adoption, and managing client expectations.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to resolve complex system issues, manage escalations, and role model expertise within the team.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills, with a focus on building strategic relationships and securing system enhancements.
- Familiarity with HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements, along with knowledge of data security standards for HR systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors) and project management (e.g., PMP, Agile), with experience in large-scale HRIS implementations or upgrades.
Responsibilities
This key role ensures optimal system performance, enhanced user experience, advanced AI capabilities, global compliance, and data accuracy while driving continuous improvements and scalability to support organizational growth. The HRIS Manager will lead system-specific projects, collaborate with vendors and stakeholders, and ensure the HRIS aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and the needs of our Centers of Excellence (COEs).
- Oversee the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of HRIS platforms to align with organizational goals, incorporating agile best practices while ensuring compliance with data privacy, OFCCP, and other legal requirements.
- Plan and manage system updates, new releases, and deployments by collaborating with IT, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementations and effective communication across the organization.
- Lead system-specific projects, including requirement gathering, system selection, implementation, and user adoption, while managing timelines, budgets, and resources to meet business objectives and COE needs.
- Provide high-quality technical support for HRIS users, manage escalations, and continuously improve support operations to enhance user satisfaction and meet SLAs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders, addressing high-level issues, collaborating on system enhancements, and aligning system capabilities with business strategies.
- Oversee the development and deployment of system enhancements, managing the SDLC process to ensure customizations align with organizational objectives and meet user needs.
- Lead the functional development of system modules, such as Recruiting, focusing on planning, process design, configuration, user acceptance testing, and addressing COE pain points.
- Mentor and develop HRIS team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, while effectively delegating resources to deliver high-quality results.
About the team
The Manager People System (HRIS Manager) will lead a collaborative, globally distributed team focused on enhancing Moody’s HR technology. Working across regions and functions, the team drives improvements in data integrity, process efficiency, and user experience through platforms like SuccessFactors and Paradox. They partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and People Connect to align system capabilities with business goals, fostering innovation and operational excellence.
