Skills and Competencies
- A strong understanding of entity data (e.g., firmographics, demographics) is required to lead quality assurance efforts and ensure data consistency.
- Demonstrated ability to design, manage, and improve QA frameworks and data validation processes is necessary for monitoring data accuracy over time.
- Proficiency with SQL and Microsoft Excel is essential for performing complex data analysis, validation, and quality audits.
- Proven experience in root cause analysis is required to identify, track, and resolve complex data quality issues and prevent future errors.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders, documenting processes, and reporting on data quality improvements.
- Experience mentoring junior team members is necessary for guiding specialists in applying best practices and maintaining high accuracy thresholds.
Education
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required, preferably in Commerce, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Requires 3 to 5 years of experience in a data quality, analysis, remediation, or governance role.
Responsibilities
- This role leads quality assurance efforts for our entity data, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and reliability through rigorous validation, process improvement, and governance.
- Lead and execute end-to-end QA processes for entity data, including validation, audit trails, and compliance checks.
- Design, implement, and maintain QA frameworks, data quality scorecards, and performance metrics to monitor and improve data integrity.
- Perform root cause analysis to proactively identify recurring data quality issues, patterns, and sources of error.
- Collaborate with and mentor junior specialists, guiding them in applying remediation best practices and maintaining high accuracy thresholds.
- Document and communicate remediation actions, process improvements, and data quality challenges to stakeholders.
- Create and refine remediation checklists and quality standards based on observed trends and validation outcomes.
- Support the preparation of reports or dashboards summarizing remediation outcomes and overall data quality improvements.
