Skills and Competencies
- Desire to learn new skills and cover new challenges
- Good analytical and attention to detail skills
- Good verbal & written English skills
- Knowledge in Power BI
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Determines a course of action based on guidelines
- Able to provide basic / transactional support to the business planning processes and deliverables
- Knowledge of Python, Structured Query Language, process automation or analytics tools
- Ability to provide basic operational support for automation workflows and data-related tasks
- Applies knowledge and basic problem-solving techniques to define and resolve problems
- Positive attitude and ability to work as a member of a team
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in developing awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Advanced studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Technology, Data Science or another related field
- Ideally one year ahead of graduation
- Internship Start Date: March 2026
Responsibilities
- Provide support on the month end processes, reporting and Ad Hoc requests based on Finance business needs
- Collaborate in the preparation of the monthly reports that will help identify key focus areas for management, in a timely manner
- Assist with the preparation of various financial processes and deliverables: i.e. forecast, budget, month end close, monthly reporting, stakeholder requests, etc.
- Collaborate in the automation, improvement and/or reengineering of the current financial processes
- Partner with other teams in Finance to foster good working relationships with the rest of the organization
- Adopt Diversity, Equity & Inclusion principles and help to promote the Moody’s culture within the Finance team members
