Skills and Competencies
- 10+ years of experience selling complex technology solutions to Public Sector clients
- Experience in Risk Intelligence or Risk Technology solutions (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance, Data Management Solutions)
- Proven ability to manage deliver large, complex end-to-end sales processes.
- Strong and proven client relationships skills
- Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience working in the Middle East region
- Strong work ethic; independent, systematic, persuasive, and able to interact with prospects and customers at all levels
- Arabic language skills.
Education
BA/BS degree required. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, JD/LLB, MA/MS, MEng, etc.) are preferred
Responsibilities
Drive new business growth by developing opportunities and expanding Moody’s customer base in the Government segment across the Middle East:
- Identify and initiate new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging existing relationships
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of client decision-making, priorities, and requirements
- Leverage insights into Government segment to uncover opportunities and risks for customers
- Develop and drive strategic engagement and commercial relationships with key customers, involving Moody’s senior executives as needed
- Manage sales cycles, lead meetings, presentations, workshops, and other client engagements, collaborating with Domain Sales Specialists, Solution Specialists, and Industry Practice Leads
- Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management
- Meet established sales targets and create new/enhanced customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
- Generate new revenue through market research, lead generation, and defending/growing existing revenue streams
- Represent Moody’s at industry and company-sponsored events as required
- This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring up to 50% travel to engage with clients face-to-face, while also providing the flexibility of hybrid working
