Qualifications & Skills
- Technical team leader with experience in delivering software application projects.
- Knowledge of the banking loan origination process
- Experience interacting with external clients to configure and implement software applications.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with offshore resources and partners
- Prior experience in key role implementing, configuring, or administering commercial lending, loan origination and/or credit risk assessment software at a bank or financial institution
- Technical proficiency in C#.Net, SQL, and database (preferably Postgres) concepts
- Experience with R or Python preferred
- Experience with SaaS, lending origination and/or credit risk management software, preferably in a configuration or software development role
- Relevant professional experience in a software development organization, consultancy (project delivery) or a financial institution
- Financial Services and banking experience in lending and loan origination preferred
- Strong presentation, teamwork and communication skills gained in a similar role
- Strong team player and collaborator
- Background in servicing external customers and building customer relationships
- Process improvement, ability to clearly explain options and provide recommendations
- Strong partnership and collaboration skills across stakeholder teams including Delivery, Product Management teams and technology teams
- Project management experience beneficial
- Knowledge of Moody’s Solutions including CreditLens, RiskCalc, CMM, ImpairmentStudio is a plus.
- Fluency in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent from an internationally recognized institution.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical leadership to project delivery team during implementation including requirements, design, and development
- Develop code for integration, business rules, etc. within the solution’s extensible framework
- Configure solutions based on customer business requirements, designs, and our lending solutions best practices
- Understand the customers’ current and future origination priorities and goals
- Participate in and/or lead requirements and design workshops to understand customers’ loan origination processes and design or advise on design of components of the solution
- Partner with and lead a team of delivery and onboarding consultants across Banking Solutions and Partner Network
- Partner with Commercial Lending Advisors, Project Managers and Customer Success Managers for successful project delivery and customer onboarding
- Document and/or review the output derived from the project workshops
- Analyze customer’s business requirements and define how our solutions can best be delivered to align with those requirements
- Ensure proper use of source control throughout project delivery
- Assist with documenting, categorizing, tracking, and analyzing results of testing
- Liaise with other teams such as product, engineering and other delivery teams to research and resolve issues
About the team
Our regional Lending Customer Advisory & Delivery team is responsible for configuring and delivering software solutions for banks and financial institutions. The Banking Operating Unit within MA develops solutions for Banks seeking to implement best practices in risk measurement, risk management, capital management, and financial reporting. By joining our team, you will be part of the exciting work in facilitating client adoption of our products by partnering with clients and colleagues to successfully deliver our credit origination solutions.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $124,300.00 - $180,250.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
