Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated success in designing and scaling BPM frameworks across global organizations.
- Strong consulting and advisory capabilities; able to translate strategic goals into actionable process initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs, manage stakeholder alignment, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Required - 8+ years of experience in business process management, operational excellence, or enterprise transformation, with leadership roles in complex or regulated environments.
- Deep expertise in BPM methodologies and governance, with a proven ability to scale frameworks across global, matrixed organizations.
- Skilled in designing and aligning process taxonomies, libraries, and control environments.
- Strong influence and facilitation skills across senior leadership, governance committees, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience establishing and interpreting process KPIs/KRIs to drive operational excellence and risk reduction.
- Ability to lead enterprise-wide adoption through structured communications, training, and behavior change strategies.
- Proficiency in BPM and workflow platforms (e.g., Visio, Blueworks, ServiceNow, Jira), content management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence), and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Familiarity with control frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 27001) and their intersection with process design and governance.
Preferred - Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCEP/CCEP-I, CRCM, PMP, CBPP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci)
- Experience with policy/BPM tooling (e.g., ServiceNow Policy & Compliance, process modeling repositories) and content governance in SharePoint/Confluence
- Background in financial services, data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, or regulatory change management
- Proficiency with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and control mapping techniques
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field
Responsibilities
Drive the strategic development, enterprise adoption, and continuous evolution of Moody’s Business Process Management (BPM) Framework. This role defines and governs the methodologies, standards, and tools that underpin scalable, efficient, and compliant process execution across the organization. The Manager, BPM Framework Lead partners with executive stakeholders, functional leaders, and governance bodies to embed BPM principles into operational strategy, risk management, and transformation initiatives. This role also leads capability-building efforts, enabling teams to execute with clarity, consistency, and control.
- Steward Moody’s enterprise BPM Framework, including principles, standards, guardrails, and process taxonomy, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and regulatory expectations.
Lead the design and deployment of methodologies and tooling for process discovery, documentation, optimization, and performance measurement. - Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, guiding the application of BPM practices to drive operational efficiency, resilience, and control.
- Facilitate enterprise-wide process mapping and governance activities using standard notations (e.g., BPMN, SIPOC, RACI); ensure documentation reflects inputs/outputs, SLAs, control points, and risk alignment.
- Oversee BPM capability-building programs, including training, coaching, and enablement resources for process owners and authors.
- Establish and monitor process performance metrics (e.g., cycle time, rework rate, maturity) to assess framework effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging technologies to evolve the BPM Framework and maintain competitive advantage.
- Partner with Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to identify automation opportunities, integrate workflows, and enhance audit readiness.
