Skills and Competencies

• 7+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Integration Suite (CPI) on SAP BTP; MuleSoft experience is a plus
• Proven expertise in SAP CPI, including iFlow design, standard and custom adapters, message mappings, exception handling, monitoring, logging, and secure connectivity
• Strong experience integrating Workday HCM and Financials using Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, RaaS, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio with SAP CPI as the orchestration layer
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns, including API-led connectivity, RESTful APIs, synchronous and asynchronous integrations, and event-driven architectures
• Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Workday, SuccessFactors, Salesforce, and other SaaS or on premises systems
• Strong programming and scripting skills, including Groovy in SAP CPI, XML/JSON transformations, XSLT, and Java
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Hands-on experience with Git-based source control, Maven, Jenkins, and SAP Integration Suite lifecycle management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and a growing awareness of AI risk management and responsible use

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
• SAP BTP / SAP Integration Suite (CPI) certification strongly preferred
• MuleSoft Developer Certification (MCD Level 1 or higher) is a plus

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate scalable and secure integration solutions that enable reliable data exchange across enterprise platforms.

• Design and deliver enterprise integrations and APIs to support core business processes
• Develop, maintain, and support SAP CPI integrations on SAP BTP
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and application teams to translate requirements into robust integration solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across development, testing, and production environments
• Ensure integrations follow best practices for security, scalability, monitoring, and governance
• Contribute to integration standards, reusable patterns, documentation, and code reviews
• Stay current with SAP Integration Suite, API management, and cloud integration trends
• Apply AI-enabled tools to improve integration development, testing, and operations while promoting responsible AI use

The Corporate Systems Integration team, part of the Technology Services Group, designs and operates enterprise-grade integration solutions that connect core business platforms and external partners. The team leverages SAP BTP Integration Suite and MuleSoft to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient integrations that support critical business processes and enable ongoing digital transformation across the organization.
