The Latin America Ratings & Research team operates across Moody’s Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, and Infrastructure platforms, driving integration, consistency, and market impact across the region. The team delivers high-quality credit analysis and research across diverse markets, supporting issuers, investors, and policymakers with independent insights. In this role, you will help shape Moody’s growth in Latin America, partner with global leadership to advance analytical innovation and client engagement, and lead during a period of transformation in credit analysis.

Skills And Competencies
- 15+ years of senior leadership experience in credit ratings, risk management, or capital markets, with oversight across multiple sectors or analytical teams.
- Deep expertise in Latin American credit markets, including macroeconomic dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to lead across Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, and Infrastructure/Project Finance in a matrixed environment without direct authority over all teams
- Proven track record in defining and executing regional strategies that strengthen market positioning and thought leadership.
- Demonstrated success building, leading, and developing high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong external presence with the ability to engage senior stakeholders including issuers, investors, regulators, and policymakers.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese.
Lead and integrate Ratings & Research activities across Latin America to drive strategy, analytical quality, and market impact.
- Lead collaboration across Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, and Infrastructure rating groups to ensure alignment and integration across the region.
- Develop and execute the regional strategy, influencing outcomes in a matrixed environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of ratings and research outputs across diverse and complex markets.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with issuers, investors, regulators, and other key market participants.
- Drive research initiatives and external engagement, including publications and industry events, to enhance market presence.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex analytical, client, or reputational matters.
- Lead, coach, and develop senior talent, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
- Drive transformation initiatives, including adoption of digital and data-enabled capabilities, to improve efficiency and analytical insight.
- Strengthen governance, controls, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
