In this role, you will support clients in the implementation and application of Moody's Solutions, helping ensure that financial models and technology are used effectively to drive value.
By joining our team, you will be part of exciting work in Financial Services. You will join a global team supporting clients using Moody's world class software and ensure that our products, financial models, and technology are used effectively and appropriately to add value to our customers. This position requires performing quantitative analysis, portfolio analysis, sensitivity analysis, stress testing, and financial model interpretation on Moody's Risk Products. In addition, you will use AI as a research assistant to help resolve client issues and partner with different departments at Moody's such as Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Research. This is a remote position covering the Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time Zone. Candidates must reside in PST, MST or CST time zones.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $67,800.00 - $98,400.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.

Skills And Competencies
- Must reside in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zone.
- Knowledge of financial mathematics (e.g. stochastic process, Monte Carlo techniques, derivative pricing, interest-rate modelling) required
- Ability to understand technically complex problems and find solutions via analysis of application log files, SQL procedures and error messages and operating system/database server diagnostics
- Explain complex financial models on conceptual, technical, and practical levels, helping clients understand not only how models work, but also how to interpret results and apply them to business and risk management decisions.
- Strong knowledge of Windows based architectures and Windows diagnostic software
- Superb analytical skills and persistence in analytical and technical problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to a broad range of client audiences
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
- Master's degree in Quantitative Finance, Computational Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Finance, Quantitative Risk Management, Risk Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, MBA with a concentration in Finance or Business Analytics, or Accounting required
- Candidates holding a CFA certification may be considered in lieu of a master's degree.
In this role, you will support clients in the implementation and application of Moody's Solutions, helping ensure that financial models and technology are used effectively to drive value.
- Develop a deep understanding of Moody's Analytics risk solutions, credit risk methodologies, and financial modeling frameworks
- Understand and explain complex financial models on conceptual, quantitative, and practical levels, helping clients understand model assumptions, methodologies, key drivers, outputs, and limitations
- Provide thorough quantitative and conceptual solutions to our wide range of clients
- Provide in-depth education and assistance on product features, functionality and the product technical architecture
- Support clients on the use of our industry leading credit risk products in a courteous, professional, accurate and timely manner via web, email, telephone, and in person
- Communicate effectively and develop excellent working relationships with colleagues within Client Service and in partner teams such as Engineering, Research, etc
- Educate clients on model assumptions, methodology, limitations, appropriate use cases, and business implications to help ensure responsible and effective use of Moody's Analytics solutions.
- Provide constructive feedback to Sales, Product Management, Research, and Training teams regarding client needs, product enhancement opportunities, recurring questions, and market feedback.
- Identify, capture, and channel client feedback on product features and functionality to our Product Managers
- Create and maintain client-facing knowledge base content, training materials, best practices, FAQs, and documentation related to product functionality, financial models, risk methodologies, and model interpretation.
- Manage and escalate requests appropriately while maintaining ownership of client interaction and delivery solution
- Track all client interactions using the CRM system
