Skills and Competencies
  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, workflow processing, financial services, or a related environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute periodic review activities accurately, consistently, and with limited supervision
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with analysts and internal stakeholders on routine workflow matters
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines and recurring deliverables
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Service-oriented mindset focused on delivering timely, accurate, and responsive support to stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of periodic review workflows, key controls, validation processes, and quality checkpoints
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate routine issues, apply sound judgment, and escalate matters when appropriate
  • Familiarity with workflow systems, tracking tools, reporting dashboards, and approved AI-enabled productivity tools
  • Commitment to quality, accurate recordkeeping, and consistent adherence to established procedures and controls
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Familiarity with operational systems, workflow management tools, and tracking platforms preferred
Responsibilities
The Periodic Review Associate supports the execution of recurring review activities by coordinating workflows, maintaining controls, managing stakeholder communications, and ensuring timely completion of key deliverables.
  • Execute end-to-end periodic review workflows, including scheduling, announcement setup, conflict checks, issuer notifications, and centralized tracking activities
  • Manage shared mailboxes and routine requests, ensuring timely routing, follow-up, and completion of assigned actions
  • Organize and prioritize work across recurring deadlines while maintaining workflow continuity and service level expectations
  • Monitor workflow status, track assigned tasks, and follow up on discrepancies to support timely execution and delivery
  • Apply established controls, validations, and quality checks to support the accuracy, completeness, and readiness of review outputs
  • Investigate routine workflow issues, coordinate with analysts and stakeholders, and escalate higher-risk concerns when necessary
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries, provide status updates, and support effective communication throughout the review process
  • Partner with Rating Teams and internal stakeholders to facilitate workflow execution, issue resolution, and smooth handoffs across activities
  • Utilize workflow reports, basic data queries, dashboards, and approved AI-enabled tools to identify discrepancies, support analysis, and improve productivity
About the Team
The Periodic Review team plays a critical role in supporting the timely execution of Moody’s Ratings review activities. The team works closely with Rating Teams and stakeholders across the organization to coordinate review schedules, maintain key controls, manage workflow processes, and ensure operational excellence. Team members are part of a collaborative, service-oriented environment that values accuracy, continuous improvement, and professional development while contributing to the quality and consistency of rating operations.
