Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007 (Principal place of business – telecommuting permitted)

Duties: Design, code, enhance, and test software applications to meet complex business process requirements. Contribute to the ongoing development of web applications within a Service- Oriented Architecture (SOA), spanning UI, backend services, and databases. Partner with Lead Software Engineers and development leads to define and execute the technical and architectural direction of projects. Actively participate in the Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure iterative delivery. Research, analyze, and deliver technical solutions that align with business goals and application development strategies. Work within cross-functional, globally dispersed teams to ensure development efforts meet international business requirements. Interact directly with internal users and Product Teams to define system requirements and identify necessary modifications for evolving business needs. Build and Deploy Code using CI/CD pipelines. Reproducing, analyzing and finding the root cause for user issues. Maintain high standards of documentation for software installation, maintenance procedures, and system architecture. Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.).

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field plus one (1) year of experience as a Developer, Engineer, Analyst or in a related position performing software development and designing technical solutions. Must have experience with following: Architecting, designing, developing, and implementing monitoring solutions to support software applications; Developing enterprise-level applications and RESTful APIs using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages such as C#, Java, or Python; Creating responsive and scalable web applications utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS; modern frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue; Designing relational databases including MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, or Sybase; and writing complex SQL queries.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $131,997 to $192,300/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
