Your work will focus on writing, reviewing, and optimizing bioinformatics scripts and pipelines, ensuring robust, efficient data processing in our bioinformatics team. Your Responsibilities

• Write, understand, and review Python, Bash, R, and Nextflow scripts in bioinformatics workflows
• Review, understand and optimize, and streamline existing bioinformatic pipelines, especially the infrastructure facilitating the logistics of input intermediary and output data
• Collaborate closely with bioinformaticians to provide scripting and technical support, refactor code according best practice standards keeping ease of maintenance in mind
• Maintain the modular structure of our codebase
  
  

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Docker, and HTML
• Professional working proficiency in English (both writing and spoken).
  
  

Nice-to-Have (in Order Of Priority)

• Prior knowledge in bioinformatics
• Able to present results with proper visualization
• Proficiency in R
• Familiarity with pipeline automation tools like Nextflow
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL
