As a Business Data Analyst at Phagos, you will play a dual role — combining the analytical mindset of a business strategist with the technical expertise of a software engineer. You will be a critical link between our data science capabilities and our commercial strategy. Sitting within the Data & AI team, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to transform raw clients data into actionable intelligence. Your insights will directly shape our value proposition, drive our business growth, and define our pricing models.

Main Responsibilities

• Dive deep into complex datasets from our clients’ farms to identify patterns, trends, and key insights related to animal health, antibiotic efficacy, and farm economics.

• Create and deploy interactive dashboards, reports, and visualization tools to make business data accessible and understandable for all stakeholders.

• Develop pricing models based on data analysis

• Create tools and dashboards to visualize business data

• Work with Benchling to improve data tracking and extraction

• Support business team with data-driven presentations and reports

• Collaborate with both business and technical teams

• Strong data analysis capabilities, particularly with business and economic data (e.g., profitability drivers, pricing).

• Software engineering skills, specifically proficiency in Python.

• Self-reliant and autonomous.

• Excellent communication skills to clearly present findings and complex results.

• A collaborative spirit: As part of a small, rapidly expanding team, transparent communication, mutual respect, and a supportive attitude are crucial.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Experience in biotech, agriculture, or animal health industries

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role

• Experience working in a startup environment

• Nice to have : previous experience with Benchling and/or other databases.
