🦜 The Role
We're looking for a Head of Growth to own how people discover Popcorn and why they stay.
Telco has never had a brand people actually love. We think that’s about to change. You’ll build and run the growth engine: content, paid, partnerships, and community — taking us from millions in ARR to hundreds of millions.
This is not a "manage the funnel" role. This is a "build the playbook from scratch" role.
🎪 Your mission
- Own Popcorn's growth strategy end-to-end from acquisition, activation, retention
- Build and execute our content and social presence across Instagram, Reddit, X, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Source, manage, and scale creator and influencer partnerships — finding people who actually live the expat/nomad/global life and can speak to it authentically
- Create content yourself when needed — you're not above shooting a video or writing a tweet
- Run paid acquisition experiments, optimize spend, and know when to double down or cut
- Build referral, community, and lifecycle programs that turn users into evangelists
- Study the data obsessively — CAC, LTV, cohort retention, channel attribution — and let it drive decisions
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to close the loop between growth insights and product improvements
🔍 What we’re looking for
- 3–6+ years in growth, marketing, or demand gen at a product-led consumer company
- You've scaled something — an audience, a channel, a user base — and can point to the numbers
- Strong content instincts. You know what makes a hook land, why some posts travel and others don't, and you can write copy that sounds like a human
- Comfortable running paid campaigns and reading dashboards, but equally comfortable riffing on a brand idea on a whiteboard
- Builder mentality — you'd rather ship something imperfect today than plan something perfect next quarter
- Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup where you had to figure it out, not just execute a playbook
- Bonus: you've lived abroad, you've dealt with roaming hell, or you just instinctively get why this product matters
- Bonus: experience in telco, fintech or subscription consumer products
