Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Intern to support our e-commerce finance operations. You will work closely with the finance team on reconciliations, payouts, invoicing validations, and basic analysis that keeps our marketplace running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who wants hands-on exposure to high-volume finance operations in a fast-growing startup.

Key Responsibilities

Reconciliations

• Support daily reconciliation of orders, payments, returns, and settlements.
• Assist in tracking cash inflows like COD receipts and digital payments.

Payouts & Settlements

• Help prepare seller payout sheets by validating order values, charges, and deductions.
• Maintain basic payout records and support query resolution.

Invoice & Ledger Support

• Assist in validating system-generated invoices for accuracy.
• Update ledgers and maintain clean documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Operational Finance Support

• Review partner invoices, credit notes, and debit notes for correctness.
• Coordinate with internal teams to close mismatches or missing data.

Analytics & Reporting

• Support the team with Excel-based reports, data cleanup, and trend tracking.
• Contribute to small process-improvement projects or SOP creation.

Requirements

• B.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) graduates.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting & taxation concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
