Our Mission

At Round, we’re putting finance and operations on autopilot. Not another CFO co-pilot - real workflows that think, act, and execute across tools, protocols, and banking rails.

We’re combining the power of infrastructure with AI to push the frontiers of what’s possible in finance.

Finance teams at SMEs and mid-market companies still run on spreadsheets, email chasing, and manual processes. We're replacing that with an AI-powered financial OS: treasury, payments, AP, FX, and AI agents, all in one platform. Hundreds of businesses already run their finance on Round, and we're backed by leading early-stage VC firms and scouts from a16z, Sequoia, Accel, and Atomico.

The basics

  • 📍 Location: London, in person in the office
  • 💰 Competitive salary + meaningful equity (EMI scheme). Every founding hire has a real stake in the outcome
  • 🥇 Founding team, working directly with Pac (CEO)
  • 🚀 You're founding a function, not joining one. You build it, then you hire the team under it
  • 🏖️ 24 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • 🍜 Weekly team lunch, annual offsites, brand new MacBook
  • About the role

  • The mission: build one of the strongest networks in finance. You'll bring together founders, CFOs, investors, and operators through dinners, roundtables, webinars, and partnerships.
  • As AI makes it easier than ever to automate outbound, face-to-face relationships are becoming an even bigger competitive advantage. We think the next generation of category-defining companies will be built around products and ecosystems, and we're hiring someone to build ours from scratch.

  • Those relationships become a community, that community becomes a distribution channel, and that distribution channel compounds. Every event feeds pipeline today and a database tomorrow.
  • You own the strategy, the execution, and eventually the team. You start with a blank sheet of paper and a mandate to build something people genuinely want to be part of.
  • You get a mission, not a playbook. There's no team or process to inherit, you build the rest yourself.
  • You lead from the front. You're the one opening the dinners, moderating the roundtables, and representing Round on stage, not organising from behind the scenes.
  • You'll work hand in hand with the whole GTM team. Sales, growth, and ops feed you intel on who to get in front of, and you feed them warm pipeline back.
  • You're building a company inside a company, with a live customer base instead of a cold start. And you keep the network either way.
  • You don't need events or marketing experience. You need to have filled a room before.
  • What you'll be doing

  • Build the events engine from nothing - CFO dinners, breakfasts, roundtables, poker nights, webinars, hackathons, conferences. You pick what we run and own the calendar end to end. You're judged on pipeline, not chairs filled.
  • Be the face of it - You open the dinners, moderate the roundtables, host the webinars, and take the mic when Round is on stage. CFOs should know your name.
  • Own the marketing around it - Invites, landing pages, and promotion before. Recaps, speaker clips, LinkedIn, and the newsletter after. A dinner for 20 becomes content for 2,000. A webinar for 200 becomes a funnel.
  • Borrow other people's audiences - Co-host with startups who share our customers. Partner with the organisations that already have our buyers' attention. Bring in sponsors, from VCs to the AI and fintech brands CFOs care about.
  • Wire it into sales - Every event and intro lands in the CRM. Follow-up is automatic. Sales knows who to call the morning after.
  • Turn the database into a community - Give it a name and a membership people apply to join, and build media around it so being a member means something. You build it, you lead it, and you hire a team under it.
  • About you

You're a founder type. Maybe you've founded before, maybe you're about to. Either way, this seat is built for you.

  • You're T-shaped. Broad enough to run events, marketing, partnerships, and ops in the same week. World-class at one thing: getting the right people in a room.
  • People who do well here: ex-founders, founders' associates and chiefs of staff who already run the show, VC platform people who ran the fund's dinners, finance leaders who built a CFO community on the side, BD operators from high-growth companies, ex-consultants or bankers who organised the dinners everyone remembers, and community builders who grew a scene from nothing.
  • You work off outcomes, not to-do lists. We give you a mission, you figure out how, and you keep us posted as you go.
  • You're comfortable out front. You can moderate a roundtable of CFOs, keep the quiet ones talking, and cut off the one who won't stop.
  • Half-empty guest lists bother you. You chase RSVPs without being asked.
  • You know who should meet whom, and your emails get opened.
  • You think in distribution. What happens at an event becomes content that travels.
  • You reach for Claude or an agent before you build a manual workflow.
  • No qualifications needed. Show us something you filled: a dinner, a webinar, a waitlist.
